Description
A view of Normal Avenue. The road is wide, unpaved and lined with a gravel walkway on each side. The side of the road seen on the left is lined with a ditch and small deciduous trees. One house can be seen beyond the trees on this side. The other side of the road is lined with both deciduous and very small evergreen trees. Six houses are clearly visible on this side. A group of women with bicycles are in the background.

Original format: lantern slide; black and white; 3.25 in. x 4 in. Condition: The slide is in fair condition. There is a crack on one side. Small amounts of glass have chipped away in the center of the crack. Dirt is trapped between the glass plates. The tape holding the slide together is worn on the top right corner. There is one label affixed to one side of the slide. Printed on the label is the title "Normal Ave." The rest of the label is missing.
