Description
A group of female students are wearing aprons and working with double boilers in a Home Economics classroom. A female instructor observes from the side. The classroom has long workstations with a sink affixed to one side. Inside each station is an assortment of cooking implements, pots and dishes. On top of each station is a grate with bunsen burners underneath. Two plates of lemons and a pitcher sit on the nearest station. Chalk boards hang on the walls.

Original Format: lantern slide; black and white; 3.25 in. 4 in. Condition: The slide is in good condition. The tape holding the slide together is in good condition. Dirt is trapped between the glass plates. Three labels are affixed to one side of the slide. Printed in blue ink on one label is "602". Handwritten in black in on one label "1176". Handwritten on one label is the title "C.T.C. Industrial Arts Home Economics. Cooking".
