Correction of faulty speech habits of high school sophomores

The general purpose of this experiment was to discover what the faulty speech habits of Greeley, Colorado, high school sophomores are, what the subject matter in the course, Oral English, should be which would tend to eliminate these errors, and what methods of teaching are best to give the pupils a foundation upon which to build in order to attain, in the short period of time, a feeling for those qualities which are essential to a good speaker.
