This study was made to determine the aims and practices of teaching thrift in the elementary, junior high, and senior high school. The need of such a study is apparent in order to ascertain the methods most generally used and what department of the school is most successful in carrying on the work. The conclusions of this study should aid any curriculum committee or administrator in organizing courses for the teaching of thrift.
