A letter from James A. Michener to Robert "Bob" Vavra regarding the sculptor, Don Amadeo Ruiz Olmos who was mentioned in the book 'Iberia' and lives close to Vavra and John Fulton. The letter recommends a meeting of the two in Spain and includes his address. Michener ends the letter with the news that his newest book about the west should be out in next October and German sales of 'The Drifter' have exceeded those of the United States. The item is in good condition. There is a blue letterhead in the top, center of the letter "James A. Michener Pipersville, Pennsylvania 18947". There is a single long, crease across the center of the letter. Along the left edge are several yellow-brown marks. The letter is typed in very dark, black ink and signed in blue ink.
