Description
A letter from James Michener to Harold Latham, Vice President of Macmillan Publishing Company. The letter is written in response to Latham's letter offering criticisms and suggestions for revision to Michener's manuscript of the "Tales of the South Pacific." In general, Michener agrees with Latham's suggestions. Michener details where he believes edits are necessary but would like to attempt some rewrites before eliminating certain parts of the manuscript. The letter ends with wishes for a Merry Christmas.
